The City of Riverbend launched its redesigned online permitting portal this week, reducing approval times for standard residential permits from an average of fourteen days to three business days for complete applications.
What You Can Do Online Now
The portal handles building permits for additions, decks, fences, and HVAC replacements; electrical and plumbing permits; home occupation licenses; and driveway approach permits.
In-Person Still Available
The Permit Center at City Hall remains open Monday through Friday for walk-in applicants. Staff can assist with complex projects that require pre-application meetings.
